    HI....
I have a problem with my Yamaha RX-V640RDS.
My DVD player is connected via component leads to "Component video A" on the receiver which is labeled DVD, and then output via component to my projector.
The sound is connected to the DVD optical plug on the receiver. I can only hear the sound but no picture is displayed when I select DVD as the input source.
But for some strange reason when I select VCR2/DVR as the input source the picture is displayed but no sound.
I have my playstation also connected via component "Component video B" and optical, this works fine when I select D-TV/CBL on the remote. Any idea's on how to redirect the picture source from VCR2/DVR to DVD.

In the options you can re-assign an input to a certain device.

Cannot remember exactly which menu but it's there, just choose component 2 (or whatever) to be the DVD input.

Thanks, that sorted out the problem...should have spent more time reading the manual.
