    Hi,

I just bought and installed this awesome receiver, but it is really slow in two ways:

-When going through the menu of the receiver, the tv shows a 2 second delay, but the receiver display does instantly respond
-when using the tv remote to adjust the volume (hdmi control and arc enabled), the volume adjust incredibly slowly, at 0,5 db per second.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks!

Thanks for your quick response. I actually want to use those functionalities though, and feel like they should also be able to function properly right? Could it be the hdmi cable?

It doesn't sound like an issue with the cable, but I supposes there's no harm done by trying a different one. I think it more likely an issue with the HDMI handshake between the two devices?

Could be, but there's no other issues between the two devices. It's only with the on screen menu and the cec volume control. TV is a new 46" Philips.
