Yamaha RX-V361 component input HELP

Just registered at AVForums, could anyone help on the following: Have connected Sky+ to my Yamaha RX-V361 via scart to component cable and then using component out from the Yamaha to compoenent in the my TV. The Yamaha does not seem to pick up the compenent signal from the Sky+ box. I have my Xbox 360 connected via the component input and that works fine.

Any ideas?
PS the digital audio out from the Sky+ to the Yamaha is working OK.

The Sky box does not output a component signal over the scart cable. You'll need a RGB to YUV Component converter in order to make it work, they're about £140 new but you can pick them up in the classifieds of this forum for cheaper than that usually. You can check them out at :-

Other option is to go Sky HD which has component out but of course then you need to pay for the upgrade on the box and the sub.
