Yamaha RX-V1067 drop of HDMI signal

Recently I've installed Yamaha RX-V1067 and connected 4 HDMI and 2 component input devices and 2 HDMI output devices (TV and projector).
I've noticed couple of times drop of HDMI signal (for 1 or 2 seconds) between Pioneer DV-668 DVD player and V1067. Drops happened after few hours of operations. The other input devices were in standby mode. Video processing mode (upscaling) was set to ON. Anybody has an idea what could be the reason?

Do you have the outputs on simultaneously? I had a problem with the 2065 when I had the outputs going to two different HDMI inputs on my TV. The issue happened with a bluray player. I think, by default, the Yamaha is on simultaneous output (so that both HDMI outs output the same signal) - try selecting one or other of the HDMI outputs (should be an option in your new GUI) - this might help. Of course, the 1067 may not have this option (to choose a single HDMI out), but I'd be surprised if it did not.

Ive got the 667 and this happended to me last night :( My solution was to simply unplug the Av and then restart the whole shabbang!

None of the settings where lost  And Ive been told "that it takes a couple of months for the circuitry to settle in and start working in harmony, so expect these small occurenses in the beginning"

Love my 667 so will let it rip until the new year, and if any problems persist or start to crop up........well it will be a case off pulling out the warranty

Thanks for your replies. For Barzo: Two units (TV set and projector) are connected, but only one HDMI OUT is selected.
It seems to me the problem is somewhere between the DVD player and HDMI cable. Player is Pioneer DV-668, 6 or 7 years old, one of the best when released, produces outstanding picture quality, but one of the first devices which utilizes HDMI connection and HDCP protocol.I've tried many HDMI cables. some of them rather expensive. All of them are working perfectly between receiver and other devices (Sony BDP-S500 Blu Ray Player, Toshiba XA1 HD DVD player, Cisco Cable STB, WD TV Live media player). But here, not. Some of them can not pass handshaking at the beginning, some start to transfer video/audio but interrupt every minute for one or two seconds, some are working but interrupt every now and then. During the signal loss, the LED on the player starts to blink, meaning problem in HDMI communication. The only cable which works without signal drops (several hours now) is HDMI cable produced by The Chord Company (very expensive one). I wish I have a HDMI analyzer (and, of course, the knowledge how to analyze the content). This could, probably, help to realize what's going on.
