Yamaha RX-A850 with Satellite Receiver (minor delay)

Hello

I just upgraded my entire surround sound system.

Receiver is now a Yamaha RX-A850a.

My TV provider is DishNetwork. Since getting the 850, whenever I use the auto forward (30 seconds) or back (10 seconds) or even manually forward/reverse, there is a split second delay where the voice and picture are out of sync.

I have connected the new TV (LG) directly to the Satellite box and it works fine. Hook back through the 850 and delay.

I did try and play around with LipSync function of the 850, but no luck (but then again I really didn't know what I was doing so I may have done it wrong).

Any thoughts...

Problem resolved - NO thanks to Yamaha support (which after 30+ mins of hold time the agent was not very good in fact rude and condescending)

Anyways, the resolution came from Dishnetwork. There was an audio setting - changed from Dolby to PCM.
