Need advice on setting up Zone 2 for Yamaha RX A3080 AVR. I have setup Zone 1 as 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos in my living room and I want to add 2 speakers in Zone 2 in Kitchen (I have 2 Monitor Audio C265 IDC in ceiling speakers which I would like to connect to zone 2.)
However I am not sure of the best way to connect the 2 speakers on zone 2 on the back terminals of the AVR.
I would normally use Zone 1 for watching movies and listening to music however at odd occasions I would like to play music in both zone 1 and 2 simultaneously.
1. Can someone please advice which terminal do I need to connect the 2 speakers for Zone 2?
Do I need additional external amp for the Zone 2?
Any advice on this would be really helpful.
