Hi,

I have just purchased the Yamaha RX-2065 and a Panasonic Full HD plasma and it all seems to work great, expect for the Xbox 360. I am getting a strange affect that I cannot work out.

I connected the Xbox360 via HDMI to the amp and then I have HDMI from the amp to the TV. What I am finding is that I cannot get the audio for the Xbox out of the amp speakers unless I turn on HDMI Control (CEC) in the amp, then the audio blasts out of my speakers. If I then turn everything off and back on I nolonger get audio until I turn the HDMI Control off, then it works again. It appears I have to toggle the HDMI Control everytime I want to use the Xbox through the amp. I do get the audio through the TV the entire time.

Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions.

Thanks in advance
Andrew

HDMI really is a pile of doggie doo dah. I would turn it off period. A universal remote is a far better idea.
