    Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has info about the following. I had decided to buy a RXV 640 receiver - gold finish -, but I have been told that it is no more available in such a finish. Now, I do not want it black and honestly I find the titanium finish ugly (at least, for the rest of my set-up). I have been told that, at least for some products, a silver line (thus, lighter than titanium) will take the place of the gold one. Does anyone have info about this?

    Many thanks & best regards.

    SpiderCat.

Nope; its Titanium or bust. The reason why people occasionally think there are three finishes on the recievers is down to the fact that the cheaper models have a plastic finish that is a lighter "titanium" than the metal fronted "titanium" of the 640 and above.
Think it looks pretty nice meself :)

You might get a different colour from abroad - the new rxv1400 is available in black, gold and titanium for europe but only in titanium for the uk market.
