Yamaha NS-100's on the rear?

    I've got an old Yamaha DSP-A595 amp with Yamaha NS-200's as the main L&Rs and currently cheap Wharfedale Valdus 100's :eek: on the rear, good value and they sound ok for the money :blush: (that and I had them kicking around from an old stereo amp I had in the shed :laugh: ).

    Thing is I've spotted the NS-100's @ £76 :eek:

    When seated the rear speakers are very close thanks to my small room (I can almost touch them).
    I'm just worried, as small as the NS-100's are (but bigger than my Wharfedales), they'll sound crap being so close and front ported...

    At £76 I'm really tempted...

    For 76 quid its certainly worth doing as the NS100´s are surprisingly good speakers. I had a pair a couple of years ago which are now in my brothers setup as rear speakers. He´s using them with a Yamaha 795a and they work very well.:smashin:
