Hello,
I have a Yamaha MCR-B142 mini hifi unit which has given good service for a number of years. Last night, however, it kept losing the Bluetooth connection, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after a few seconds, then it started going a bit mad by flicking between CD / Bluetooth / Aux / Radio on it's own.
I thought maybe the remote was playing up so I removed the battery but the Yammy still kept merrily switching inputs on it's own.
Having rules out Poltergeist activity, has anyone any idea what could be going on?
The unit is on a bedside cabinet, and I don't think anything could have got inside it. It wasn't cheap and it does usually have good sound, so I'm reluctant to bin it as it's not easy to find these things with an alarm clock facility.
Thanks for any help.
