I have recently 'installed' a Yamaha DVSX100 for some friends and all is well, especially the sound quality, which is fantastic for the money (349).
However, there is one problem. I have the output set to 4:3 Pan and Scan (which is what they want as they only have a 21" 4:3 TV).
However, the player is outputting a 4:3 letterbox pic which means that 1:2.35 pics (e.g. Apollo 13 R1 DTS) is tiny.
Does anyone have any experience of Yamaha DVD players and could perhaps shed some light on things?
