Have just borrowed a new widescreen Data projector to see how it looks.

I thought this would be easy. I have a Yamaha 750 Se AV amp, and i use the 'monitor' Svideo port to feed my Phillips TV without any problems. DVD's get played (pioneer 575) through SVideo leads as well.

So for a quick trial i used a svideo lead to the projector, put on a dvd and didnt get a video signal.

I can 'svideo' straight out of the DVD to the projector no problems, picture comes up straight away. The only clue to any differences are that the Data projector see's the DVD player as a 'PAL' device, but the AMP it see's as 'Secam'.

BTW i can get the OSD menu's up through the projector on the amp, just no picture.

    Anyone?
