Being honest the best thing to do is search as many classified/auction sites as possible for the model name and work out a mean average of what its fetched before......older AV amps wont be worth a lot now sadly as the newer ones are very good quality at a pretty cheap price.....

a general rule of thumb tho is within a year you might get up to 70% of its original cost, 1-2 years usually 50%, 3 years perhaps 40%, 4 years 35% etc....however thats only a rough idea, some lose value very quickly, others hold their value......my Denon 3803 is a little over 3 years old now, rrp was £1k, i paid £700, i'd be lucky to get £225 for it now.....thats around 35% give or take.....
