I HAVE JUST CHANGED MY AMP TO THE "YAMAHA DSP A5". IT IS BIGGER THAN MY OLD ONE AND IT HAS TO THEREFORE GO ON THE TOP SHELF OF MY T.V. UNIT. THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME INTERFERENCE CAUSED WHEN TURNING THE AMP ON, (COLOUR BLEED TYPE INTERFERENCE), AND I SUSPECT IT IS PROBABLY DUE TO THE TRANSFORMER POWERING UP. ON ONE OCCASSION (WHEN WATCHING THE SIMPSONS) COLOUR BLEED STARTED TO DEVELOP ON THE SCREEN LONG AFTER THE AMP WAS POWERED UP. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT FERRITE CLIPS OR RINGS MIGHT SORT THIS OUT, AND ALSO THAT THE INTERFERENCE MAY BE DUE TO POOR ELECTRICAL WIRING IN MY HOUSE. I'M OPEN TO ANY ADVICE!!!!

    NO NEED TO SHOUT!! :)

The solution is to move the amp further away, the transformer leaks magnetic interference and that's what is causing the TV's picture bleed.
