Hi,

I have been looking to get a new av reciever. Both of these can be had for around £850 however are slightly different. The speakers I am going to run with them are my beloved Audiopro Image 44. for those of you who don't know what they are - Image 44

I will be changing my sub - Possibly a BK sub

My key question is what do you think the pros and cons of both amps are?

There's very little difference between the earlier x10 models and the newer x20 models apart from the newer models having Airplay and 4K video processing. If you do not need or can do without the Airplay and the 4K processing then the older models offer you better value for money. The RXA2010 is 2 places up from the 820 despite the Airplay and 4K video capabilities of the 820.

By the way, you can get an RXA2010 for £750:
