Yamaha AV Receivers????

    Hello All,

    Just wanted some quick advice of you AV gods, i 'm interested in the following model of yamaha AV receiver but cant work out if they have what i need which is Component video upconvertion, please can you confirm for me:

    DSP-AX640SE
    DSP-AX650SE
    DSP-AX750SE

    Not much help but my 757 has from composite & Svid

    http://www.yamaha-uk.com/pdf/owner_manuals/RX-V650.pdf from here it says that the 650 only does composite and s-video converaion no component, the 640 would not either but the newer 657 does do all the way upto component.

    http://www.yamaha-uk.com/pdf/owner_manuals/DSP-AX750SE.pdf here states that the 750se does have upconversion to component, the 757 will too.

    Although even the 557 http://www.yamaha-uk.com/av_amps_receivers/?product_id=58 has upconversion to component.

    So either 750 or greater or 557 or greater for upconversion.

    I Have the 750 and it does up conversion :thumbsup:

    One point though these are all amps not receivers :)

    reciever = amp with radio tuner, if anyone wanted to know ...
