Been looking at this for a while now but can't find any reviews on it :(

anyone got this And do you rate it ?

SPECS HERE

Well the AV57 was highly regarded for the price.
At £228, I doubt you could go wrong.
I'm not sure the 359 amp does delay though and this may be of slight concern if you're planning to run video through it.
If you're only using it for audio, it's fine, IMO.
My 557 was very nice, so that should be the same.
I'd normally say go with seperates, but nothing could compete.

yeh m8, running skyHD, dvd & media player thro it :(

Sorry, I wasn't very clear there.

Sometimes you can get a lip synch problem through Sky or Cable, if you're using a flat screen.
DVD and MC should be fine.
If you can route Sky pics directly to the telly, it's not a concern at all.
Of course, your audio can still go via the amp for surround.
Chances are you won't get a problem anyway, it's just something to bear in mind.
The setup is a great choice for the dough, because if you decide to upgrade the speakers or sub at a later date, you have a path.
Most all in one packages mean you have to bin the lot.
Like I said, at that price, it's very hard to beat.

I bought the AV 57 as an end of line and display model very cheap for the second TV in the other end of the lounge, realy impressed with it, got DVD, PS2,CD player and VCR connected to it. Gives a good sound even with CD's (for the price) I think its just updated connections that the AV 59 has.
Would recomend this as a good first surround AV amp/speakers system, miles better than an all inone system. You should also look at the Denon system at about the same price...had a good write up in the Which? mag a month or two ago, http://www.denon.co.uk/site/frames_...ppe_C=5&action=detail&Pid=258&main=prod&sub=1
