    Hi Folks.

Bit of an odd one. Currently watch all terrestrial channels through
telewest digital. I have my sound hooked up through a Yamaha amp/receiver and mission FS2's.

All channels, terrestrials, movies and sports etc are fine..

BUT when Gary Rhodes ( for the good lady ) comes onto
BBC 2, and only this programme, he sounds like he's standing in the middle of a church i.e massive echoes!?!

This does NOT happen on any other programme therefore I presume the programme's sound is recorded differently.

If I switch the amp to normal as opposed to enhanced mode, he
    sounds normal?

    What's going on?

    Any information gratefuly received.

    Thx

    Ged

I've got an RXV-596 (I think, not sure of no.) which does the same every now and again. I haven't got FS2 speakers so I think you can rule them out...

 Program is on ( telewest ) 8.00pm Tuesday evenings.

I also posted this topic in the Amplifiers board and a kind bod called cliff reckons the programs sound has been recorded with some antiphase components to make it sound spacious and the enhanced mode on the advert is magnifying it. (FYI)

    Thanks everyone.
