I've been offered one of these for £150 it perfect condition.

Is that a resonable price? I couldn't find any other quotes anywhere,

    Thanks

    John

That's a very good price, and more so if in mint condition. I think A2 go for about £300, A1 for £400.

    Excellent price.

I had one a little while back. Recommended amp. Haven't heard a 3801, but I'd put my money on the Yamaha.

Never compared the A2 V 3801.. can't comment about that.

What speakers have you got? Should be ok as long not all 4 Ohm & low sensitivity

John, if you do get the Yammy spend a few hours comparing against your Denon, you might decide to keep the Yamaha and sell the Denon off.
