as it says when i set up my 750 a few weeks ago i did not have a sub - used the microphone to 'balance' the system and worked fine

    UNTIL NOW

i have just added a REL storm sub and i'm getting nothing from it

does the problem lie in the fact that the original set up noted no sub and does not accept that ones been added??

am i best to restore factory settings and repeat the set up process from scratch again using the mike etc

    thanks in anticipation

Have you re-run setup again with the sub added?

Try re-running setup and then manually check your settings. Also, try to find out what your crossover is set at.

If you had no sub on auto set up all the LFE signals are going to your front speakers. Either run auto set up again, or go in to manual set up and change LFE to 'both' or 'sub' and then check your subwoofer crossover frequency (max on the sub and usually 80-100 on the amp).

Doesnt the LFE input on the REL bypass the xover frequency?
