The TW-E3B True Wireless Earphones prove that big things can come in small packages. With true-wireless convenience and plenty of battery life (6hrs + 3 recharges in the case), and a teeny-weeny case that fits neatly into practically any pocket, the TW-E3B are perfect for someone always on the move. On top of that they’re also IPX5 water resistant (so they’re happy at the gym or if you get caught in a downpour), designed to help protect your hearing with Yamaha’s Listening Care, and available in six different colours.

And by oomph, we mean both in sound and in features. The YH-E700A are a pair of wireless headphones that adapt to both you and your environment, with features that we’ve all come to expect (like Active Noise Cancelling and an Ambient Sound Mode), but also with some additional Yamaha innovation. For starters there’s Listening Optimizer, inspired by our room correction experts, that corrects for differences in fit and ear size for anyone who wears them in real time, making sure you’re always getting the sound the way it was intended from the source material. We also do ANC slightly differently, processing the noise separately to the audio signal, leaving your music untouched and as pure as it should be. And finally, there’s advanced Listening Care, intelligently adjusting the frequency curve as volume changes, meaning you don’t need to crank them up just to get good bass and treble.

AVForums themselves declared that with the YH-E700 "[Yamaha have] built what might be the best travel headphones [they’ve] ever tested.”

High praise indeed!

YH-L700A – for those who want no compromises

The YH-L700A True Wireless Headphones are our flagship wireless headphones. They provide all the same tech features as their little sibling, the YH-E700, but also go further. In terms of their sound, they sound even better, offering added punch and openness. And with 3D sound & head tracking, they deliver breath-taking spatial audio for all your favourite content; 7 3D sound modes allow a wide range of content to be uplifted with 360-degree realism for the ultimate listening experience.

SR-C20A – for the bedroom gamer

The SR-C20A is small but mighty, capable of creating a huge sound field despite its compact design. Utilising Yamaha’s famous virtual sound field technology, the SR-C20A never fails to impress and, at just 60cm wide, is the smallest ever Yamaha soundbar package. Pop this under the TV in a bedroom, or under a monitor on a desk, and get sound that seems to extend beyond the physical dimensions of the soundbar – it’s a truly capable little performer, petite but powerful.

YAS109 & 209 – for the home-cinema minimalist

Putting two soundbars together might seem like cheating but, in our view, they offer very similar solutions, just in two different flavours.

The YAS 109 & 209 are both smart soundbars with Alexa built right in, meaning they can slot into your home alongside the world’s most popular smart speakers and provide all the same functions you’re used to. They also both come equipped with Bluetooth, and built-in streaming connectivity for Tidal and Spotify alongside Amazon music.

As for how they differ, it’s very simple. The YAS 109 is an all-in-one solution, with built-in subwoofers, while the YAS 209 comes with its own wireless subwoofer. That said, if you can live with a wire, you can even attach a sub to the 109 (which is a pretty awesome combo in our opinion). They’re both based on previous multi-award-winning designs, refined and updated with more modern features, while keeping the Yamaha sound quality you’ve come to expect.
