    Hi,

I am living in Australia. Yamaha 1400 is so expensive here, the cheapest one I can find is $700 ($1750 AUD) demo stock. I am thinking of buying one from Germany or Singapore, but I am concerning about the compatible of the voltage input. In Australia the power voltage input is 240V. Does anyone know that is the power voltage input for Singapore and Germany? Or anyone here from Australia has bought an AMP/Receiver from Germany or Singapore? Know anyone good etailer? :lease:

    Please advise.

    Many thanks,

    Cheers,

I can't speak for Singapore but Germany is roughly the same voltage as the UK/Oz, so you should be ok to import one from there (obviously you'll have to change the mains plug).

Don't forget to budget for any import duty and taxes, not sure what levels (if any) you have to play in Australia.
