Hi, I've just bought a Yam AX630 amp and have been trying to get my Pioneer 606D DVD player to play sound through the optical connection. Doesn't seem to want to work ! I've managed to hook up my Sky+ box ok via optical but can't seem to get the DVD player to work. Any ideas ? I've checked the settings on the menus of the DVD player but nothing to suggest using digital instead of analogue. Seems to default itself although no sound coming through.. Help me please !!! ;)

    Cheers

Sorted ! Was a button to select between optical and 5.1 - just wasn't labelled so obviously though !
