I just purchased a Pioneer DV636d and very nearly bought a Yam A5(stopped by wife)I then thought 2 DD decoders sounds a bit of a waste so I'm now looking at the NAD T750 because of its supperior sterio capabilities. The only thing putting me off is the NAD does'nt have optical connections, so is it future proof?

The NAD is future-proof in the sense that it has a 6 channel input.

It does not have optical, or any other digital inputs, because it is not a digital receiver, only analogue.
