Yahama RX-V679 or Onkyo TX-NR747 ? SALE!

Hi, Im going to get a new reciever for my hometheatre setup.
The speakers I have now is Dynavoice M-65 EX front, center and back speakers and sub: XTZ W9.

I am looking at a Yahama RX-v679 or Onkyo TX-NR747.

The Yamaha is cheaper, but the Onkyo is on a good sale.
Since the sale is in NOK i will post it in dollars.
Yamaha, original price: 635$ and offer 346$
The onkyo is really expensive, original price: 1155$ and on sale 577$

I'm leaning towards the Onkyo because I feel I maybe getting better bang for the bucks and it's better suited for future expansions, but still. If I go for the yamaha I'm saving 231$...

Any tips?

That's a good price, I went for that Yamaha today for $379/£250 (SEK 3490).
I did listen to it a bit in the store and it sounded clean and fairly powerful, but the installation (room) wasn't optimal. Haven't listened to the NR747 but it looks more high-end.
This was to replace a really aging H/K AVR 300.

Hope someone else can fill you in!
