Im thinking of getting these film's.

I have read that TBI Is a good thriller but i am getting mixed reports about xxx.

Are they as good or are they just hype.

    Let me know your opinions!!!

    Thanks

The Bourney Identity is a very good film indeed. I would highly reccommend it. As for XXX, I have not seen it but seeing a trailer for it on the TV this weekend just confirmed to me a good reason for not buying it. It is Vin Desiel saying "I live for this" in a very, very silly voice.

I bought xxx on region 1 a few montsh back and quite enjoyed it. It is not a film to take seriously and i think if you enjoyed die anotehr day you will enjoy this. I would personally just buy this film for the sound alone film is quite good overall.

I liked Vin in The Fast and the Furious and was really looking forward to xXx.

I was disapointed. It is just about worth a rent, but I certainly wouldn't buy it.

The Bourne Identity was good, probably worth a purchase.

bourne identity is a solid (don`t know exactly what kind, action and a bit of spy) film. very good. UKR2 =R1 for this I bought mine on R1 in january.

xXx is just silly. but great fun fudge*n loud as well. just shook my room. I got the R1 and I recommend you don`t buy the UKR2 as it`s cut. If u don`t care about a second or so then go ahead.R1 is RCE other R2s are uncut
Only problem I have with xXx is the extras ijn some of them they actually talk like about a serious film. like the NSA HQ they go on about explaining and it just sounds stupid. You MUST not take this film serious, Vin didn`t.

I saw XXX at the cinema and it was a pretty reasonable popcorn effort but not worth a second viewing (unless they've got loads of extras on).

I missed The Bourne Identity at the movies but did a review of the DVD for another site (can't mention it here though) a few weeks ago and was surpised at how good a thriller it was. Can't say as the DVD extras add much but the film itself is excellent.

I'd avoid xXx to be honest, not really a repeat watcher and has been said before it's LOUD!

Got both on Saturday from Play. Haven't watched Bourne Identity yet, but thought xXx was a good crash out with a few beers type of film.

      the what???

seriously: if u want to have the dialogue at a reasonable level the action scenes are very loud. but it was like that in the cinema as well. The bass is massive.
yes I could turn it down, but what's the point of an avalanche and a million explosions if u can't feel them??

If you find the dynamic range too wide try DRC.

XXX needs an age restriction limit for people over 12 to not watch it.

Has anyone read The Bourne Identity? How true is the film to the book.

I've been a keen reader of Ludlum for a while and had always thought that would transfer well to the screen.

Whilst on this topic - what is the Sum of All Fears like? Still not sure if I'll get used to Jack Ryan not been played by Harrison Ford!!

Bourne Identity isn´t bad but of the two I preferred xXx, it´s just no-brainer action with a stonking soundtrack to match.

Get the Bourne Identity, xXx isn't really worth it - nowhere near as good as a half decent bond film.

My version of Bourne from Play didn't have an inlay card either. The disc box it came in also doesn't have those little clips that usually hold the inlay card and all the gubbins in place.

I bought both of these from GAME the other day (10% student discount  ).
I think Bourne Identity is a very good film, I think xXx is not.
To me the acting is rubbish and really the stunts don't fit together well, so im gonna return it tomorow.
Also I didn't get an inlay card with BI.
    Thanks
    Regards
    Richeh

I did not have a problem with xXx. I thought Fast and Furious was top fun and xXx is no different. It is nothing more than a 'switch your brain off' action movie. Nothing else, nothing more. It's fast paced, entertaining, has some awesome stunts and as mentioned earlier in this thread, VERY LOUD. If you could switch off your brain for say, Armagedon then you should enjoy xXx. I am looking forward to owning it on dvd.

Not seen Bourne Identidy but have heard lots of praise for it.
