I've just got an XTZ microphone pro microphone for DIRAC setup and one of the connectors is from sound card to line inputs. The manual states:
Connect the supplied XLR-RCA-cable from AUDIO OUTPUT to a line input on your amplifier/receiver/subwoofer.
Note: Only needed if use of acoustical measurement software. For room correction softwares use your playback connection (e.g.external DAC).
To be on the safe side: do I need to connect to inputs on the amp or not? If I do, which line inputs? A Y-splitter is supplied so presumably to a stereo pair?
Cheers
