I have the XTZ 1x12 and a family friend has the 12x17 and on paper they appear to be similar spec wise.

However after listening to both extensively if you can afford the 1x12 they go for that one. I think the design of the two boxes are ultimately what makes the 1x12 better. Don't get me wrong the 12x17 is a fantastic subwoofer but personally I prefer my 1x12. To my ear it goes lower and louder. You can always go over to Jag and test them both if your local.

I don't have any experience of the pb2000 but it was between that and the xtz and I chose the xtz, although I'm sure the pb2000 is also a beast!

Either way I recommend you listen to as many as you can before purchasing.

I'm having a similar discussion on another thread, talking also about the BK Monolith and Arendal 1723...
