Xtreamer and AVR600 no 1080p passthrough

Hopfully someone can help. I've just got an xtreamer pro, connected it via HDMI to the amp, I can't get any picture outputting 1080p. If i change the res to say 1080i it works. 1080p works direct to the screen, so it has to be something the AVR is doing to stop it. Amp is set to output 1080p, follow input. Tried preffered, which is 1080p and framrate on auto.
Any help is much appreciated.

So problem solved. Turns out it's a setting on the xtreamer, in case anyone gets one of these it's the HDMI compatability settings, set to number 4.
No problem with the arcam which I'm relieved to say.

Glad you solved it. I had a similar issue with my computer. Turns out I had to set the refresh rate manually on the arcam to 60hz for the picture to show. The hdmi on the avr600 is really picky.
