If I have burned a DVD-R and finalised it on my XS32 can I then dub it back to the HDD? I know it's in VR mode on the HDD and video mode on the finalised disc so if I dub back will it dump a video mode file I can't do anything with on the hard disk or convert it to VR mode and be just as flexible/editable as it was originally?

Also, is there a quality loss when doing this?

I ask because I burned and finalised a -R disc and now want to use some of the programmes on it to create another disc.
