    Hi

I need to get a dvd player for the bedroom and was thinking of getting a DV575 because of the good review. Then I started wondering if it might have a better quality picture that my XS34. Anybody compared the 2. I'm using a 32" toshiba widescreen to view.

PS I have sky multi room, so it doesn't matter where the dvd recorder is.

I don't have the 575 but have the model before it the 565. I also have a Toshiba 32" , I personally think that the Pioneer picture is slightly better, but there is not a great deal in it.
I do find that the Pioneer is more tolerant with regards to media quality and it loads them (Shop bought and homemade disc's) a lot quicker than the Tosh.
I am having problems with the Toshiba not displaying the menus of some picture DVD's I've made, although this seems to be dependent on which software I use .
