Xover frequencies on Marantz SR5400?

    Can anyone tell me what Xover frequencies are available on the Marantz SR5400?

    And if it has independent Xover frequencies for each chanel please...

    is variable/independant X-over a common feature on receivers these days? my sr5200 doesn't seem to have a choice of X-over so would like to get a new one which does when i upgrade... :lesson:

    You'll be lucky - the new higher-end HK amps only just have these.

    AFAIK the 5400 is fixed at 100Hz.

    Just bought one of these from richersounds on eBay. Was advertised as having no remote or manual and being graded/ex demo. Came with remote and manual and looks brand new so I'm very happy.

    Anyway, reading the manual (I'm moving house so haven't set it up yet) crossover frequencies are 80, 100, 120 Hz. It also does some bass mix thing to control the mix between large front speakers and sub.

    thats correct, the crossover can be set to those frequencies, however the individualy speaker crossovers cannot be set

    I think I?ll wait for the SR5500 to have 40 and 60 Hz :confused:
