Xoom or Asus EEE Pad !!!

Hi Guys,

If it was a toss up between these two, which would be the better for someone who is only interested in things such as pictures, social networking stuff and games?

Obviously the EEE Pad has the keyboard advantage which would bring it more inline with a netbook / business system if needed, but in terms of what i would need it for....

IT would be personal preference that would govern this decision EXCEPT ...........................
HMV have just announced a price cut for the EEE Pad to £300. Also the EEE Pad will be upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich. (Android 4).

Yes. Original pricing for the Xoom and transformer was ~£400. Motorola are now advertising the Xoom 2 so the Xoom has taken a price tumble as well.

It certainly seems to be developing into a price war. I would suggest that you actually see both items before making up your mind.
