I have a Yamaha rx-v2700 which has upscaling built in. I am in the process of deciding between a Tosh E1 or an XE1. So has anybody compared the upscaling of SD DVD's between a XE1 and a RX-V2700.

    Thanks for your help

I have both. The XE1 is better, not surprising given the Reon chipset. The difference is not night and day, emaning the Yamaha is quite reasonable.
