Could anyone give me some more information on LG's XD Engine? My 42PX3RV comes on Monday, so I'd prefer to be more clued up on this system.

I watched the demo on the LG site and it mentioned six different "filters"?

    Pixel Works
    Real Cinema
    Bass Coordinator
    Super Detailer
    Noise Buster
    True Colour

Can any of these filters be applied seperately, or is this the six filters XD Engine applies to an image at one time when "XD" is activated? Can you perhaps choose to run Pixel Works and Super Detailer only?

    Cheers folks. :D

No, you can't use only one of the filters-they are complex, you can however turn it off, and also you can control the d filter, NR MPEG, Cinema mode filter and lots of other settings.
I just did calibration with DVE disk and on component input I choose to have my XD off-if the signal is quality enough you will probably not need the XD, but for TV watching is great and for start use also.
