Hi all,

The PlugggedIn Boys will probably tell me this.

I am using the Xcard pushing the Data through the PDI to the Sweetspot through DScaler and then out through the Radeon with DVI.

In the XMP Configurations, you have a Video Setup Tab.

There 2 sides to that tab - Output and TV Standard.

Output - Does this just come into play when you are outputting from the back of the XCard or is it used when the data is pushed throught the PDI.

TV Standard - I only use PAL Discs. Which PAL option should I choose. The Radeon is setup for 1368 * 768 @56Hz.

What is the relationship between the 2 tabs.

Chris

David,

How do decide on which PAL option to use. Do I take it that there are different PAL standards and we just have to suck it and see.

Chris

Select the top one, PAL-BDGHI, IIRC the UK is PAL-I.

Kragorn you are the font of all knowledge.

Thanks

BTW What does IIRC mean and also AFAIK.

:) .. trial and error yields lots of useful knowledge ;). I also vaguely recall seeing some driver select PAL-I when I told it I was in the UK, though couldn't locate that on my systems here so couldn't be absolutely sure.

IIRC = If I Remember Correctly
AFAIK = As Far As I Know
