Xbox360 Vga Help

    Hi can anyone help me please i have a Samsung 46" M87 i have just bought a VGA connector from game and when i put it on my tv i can not see my xbox it just says mode not supported i have lowered all the settings with my composite lead tryed 420 lowest and put VGA back in no luck any idears would be greatful thx steve

    Sounds like the HD settings on the Xbox M8, why not set it to lowest resolution and if that works work your way up...?

    hi thx m8 but i have put it on the lowest 420p and still no joy m8 also my 60hz has gone down to 50hz and cant get it back to 60hz :(

    oh **** sounds like a dodgy VGA cable then?

    Try turning on the system with the guide button (X) and holding down Y and the Right Trigger until the system rebeoots. This will reset the video settings to the defaults, which should let you choose a resolution that works. (if I remember correctly, the 52M87 I had would only accept 1280x768)
