For some reason, when I plug the Xbox360 into throght the SCART on my TH-42PE30B the picture looks awful.

The green part of the display looks all grainy and almost grey!! I tried using the three cables that go into the scart adaptor but that isnt much better. I can use the component cable fine with great results but my HD/DVD Recorder was using that - I really dont wanna be fidling around behind the telly every time I wanna use the other piece of kit.

    Any advice?

does it not have a VGA socket? You seriously dont want to be using scart into a plasma. Whilst it wont look as bad as scart into LCD it wont be a patch on component or VGA - plus it sounds like you are using the half scart that comes with the 360, which is actually just composite. If you dont have a VGA socket you might want to get a component splitter.

Are you using RGB Scart? Have you changed the XBox 360 display settings when using the Scart connection?

Cheers guys. I was using the half scart thing at first before I started fiddling with my components.

I have read of a converter for older plasmas to enable them to take a HDMI signal so Ill get a VGA cable to link that up to my telly.
