    Hi all,

I'm having to send my Xbox back for repair but rather than be without my games and Live over the Xmas break I'd like to buy another one in the meantime (well it is Christmas!)

My question is if I get a memory card with the idea of transferring to the new machines' hard drive, do any of you know if there would be any problems with saving to it?. I'm thinking particularly of the Xbox Live saves (including the Network Account)
I suppose I'd have to run the Starter kit disc again to install the dash?

    Any comments or ideas?

Most game saves should be transferable to a memory card, but not all. One example is JSRF which, as I recall can't save to a card at all - only the disk. You are definitely able to save your account info to a card and take it to another machine.

You would have to install Live on the new Xbox. I'm not sure though whether MS will do some checking or not to make sure that the same disk isn't being used to install Live on lots of different XBoxes. Could be worth asking the support line about that.

shouldnt matter mate. The Live account is transferrable (I've had to do it) via memory unit and works perfectly.:)
