Don't think I've played that since the day I bought it :-(
    Get Ghost Recon waaayy better....

And no mate, you can just jump into almost anyone's games.

Put me on your friends list when you've got GR, (its the only game I ever play - although I got a load of them)

    Hi Malone

    Jumping in to games?

Well it depends on the games really!

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a good example of a Live game that you can just jump into at any time. It's also brilliant and [opinion] *hushed voice* much better than Ghost Recon [/opinion]!

GRIT has it's place though if you like things a bit slower and with a bit more 'realism'. Personally, I just couldn't get into it. Although I think that had more to do with the clunky interface (I guess I got bored of jumping into games and having to wait nine minutes before I could start playing :)))).

MotoGP is ace. Mech Assualt was ace for a bit but didn't really do enough for me. But welcome to Live mate, there are some brilliant games coming out and some top people already playing.

Also there was a telephone sound does that mean someone is trying to contact you or is it background sounds for atmosphere ??

We all tend to play GRIT now, there are a lot more maps, and they are generally better, more weapons etc etc. I'm expect the original GR was very quiet when you played ;-)

    Get GRIT form play.com here:
    http://play.com/play247.asp?pa=stts7&page=title&r=XBOX&title=123910

    still only £15

Anyway you can send us an invite to the old GR game if you want, it comes up on screen telling us which game to put in, and for most of us it'll be a laugh to see some of the old maps.

Put me on your favourites ASAP

    SpunkyDunc.

    Malone,

You can add names in the Dashboard.

Take out all discs and go to XBOX live on the menus, you can manually add names form there.

I am trying this now, but It says that Manic Maloney doesn't exist, so whats your proper tag name, it is case and space sensitive.

    Duncan.

The guys we played with were not very talkative. When you play with our clan you'll love it, lots of good banter and silly ******.

It's a bit convoluted to accept an invitation if you're in another game, lots of yes an no stuff to press.

At anytime press the start button, go to Online Options, then Friends List.
You can see who is Online and join them if there is a free slot on the game they are in. OR YOU CAN SEND THEM AN INVITE TO THE GAME YOU ARE IN.

I did send you invites for a chat in the Dashboard as well, totally away from the game interface. There are sometimes problems joining some peoples games, I cannot join Dels games and vice versa.

Anyway, you can send me invites to a game if I am online.
And keep practising Seige matches (use OptiMatch to find them - Team 5-10 players works best for me)

Crimson skies is a maybe. Rainbow six 3 is a must buy think this will be superb on live. PGR2 not buying as i'm really bad at driving games. XIII looks very good been playing the pc 2 level demos and its a lot of fun - should be great on XBL.

Rainbow six 3 is another one of those games that has just come completely out of nowhere for me. It just looks completely ace in every department. Hands up now who wants to be part of the four man xbox live team???

I'm looking forward to crimson skies and will probably get PGR2 and xIII. I have to say that MS have really changed my gaming habits. I now actively look for titles that are live-enabled.

Duncan, in relation to your post, the training level is very "quake" like alright for a quick burst but lacks any stealthy tactics etc.

From what u said GRIT has some good locations(GR has some too)
So as soon as it arrives I shall get some practice in. Dont want to get my ass kicked around too much.:suicide:

to be honest not sure if i can remember....

but who pays £40 for a full xbox game anyway?
let alone £40 for an add-on pack.

i think it was debenhams or something that had it for £40
