    Hmmm
I'm not sure how the update works but
Whilst I have had an update this morning I certainly don't have the battery power icon and despite having the new look games and apps section showing what's installed etc, it certainly does not list games installed from disc that are not in the drive
So for example, forza and cod which I sold domt show and as far as I can see can't be deleted
Also the waiting to install section is there but seems you need to install to delete and can't just delete
Battery indicator is there, have to give the "guide" button a quick tap
But for all the talk, the desktop is still that awful windows 8 design and I still can't seem to remove disc based games installed onto console
My console only shows the 5 downloaded games and the game that's in the drive
I have about 40gb of space unaccounted for which I assume is ghosts and forza but can see I way to delete
Also if you uninstall something you downloaded it returns to "waiting to intsall"

Did you write that post while still exploring what changes the update had performed as you first state there is no battery icon then you say it is there?

Also I don't think the Windows 8 style dashboard is going anywhere anytime soon.

Oh and games installed from disc should still show up under Games even if the disc is not in the drive, mine is showing Ryse and Forza 5 just fine.

It's seems the new update must of did something to the Blu ray app on the Xbox One. Just got Game of Thrones season 3 on Fri on blu ray and it is unplayable on the Xbox one! The discs don't load, you see a glimpse of the Hear tree loading screen then your met with a black screen afterwards. Left it for bout 10 mins and there was no change still black screen!

Thought it was the disc so tried them on my brothers PS4 and they all work just fine. Also thought it might be my console so took them to my cousins house and got same result, black screen.

I dont have a capture device so I know thats not the prob.

Someone posted a similar prob over on the Xbox.com forums like am having.

Tried loads other blu rays and they all work fine including 1st, 2nd seasons of Game of Thrones.

Not point ringing Microsoft as they told the other person over on Xbox.com that it was the discs, when infact its their console thats causing the prob : (

Have you tried clearing the cache and disabling BDLive?

Yep even tried unistalling the Blu Ray app and reinstalling it with no luck. Two other members over on Xbox.com forums are reporting the same issues now.

Was Game of Thrones Season 3 playable before the update? as I'm just wondering if it's yet another disc where they have changed the authoring method and caused incompatibility, happening more and more lately.

Already had the update in my console before I tried to watch them mate. Tweeted to Xbox Support bout but got no reply! I've noticed a couple people have tweeted them since I last did. Am hoping they fix this with a simple patch.

You say this type of prob is happening with other blu ray. Which ones??

I wasn't referring to any titles in particular just that studios keep changing the way they author discs and it has been known to cause playback issues on many different types of Blu-Ray players over the years.

I see hopefully a simple patch can fix this issue then. Got a reply to a tweet I sent Xbox support and they told me to do a hard reset of the console by holding down the power button for 10 seconds then remove the power cord for 5 minutes.

Tried this and did not fix the prob : (

I am sure the app will get an update every few weeks/months that will increase the compatibility.
