Does the Xbox lose it's clock settings everytime you unplug it?

I am sure my PS2 and every other piece of equipment that I have doesnt do this!

The XBox keep the clock setting for around 2 hours after you unplug it. It has a capacitor that keeps the charge this long, MS didn't use a battery as they didn't want to add components that would require user replacement.
