Any of the third party controllers any good. Only really want one for 2 player games, and possibly a small type one for occasional use by the missus & nephews.

I am quite happy with the official full sized one for myself, and don't really want to fork out £23 on an official one that will not get used very often.

    Cheers

I have the £8 Joytech one from HMV.

Seems to do the job, but not as well styled as the MS one, and on long 2 player Halo sessions, has frozen. Unplug and replugging clears the freeze (To 100% blame the 3rd party controller though, I need to swap the controllers over).;)

The controller S is so much better than the original - well worth the £23.

The button layout, the size, and the thumbpads are just infinitely better.

    Buy buy buy! :D

    Thanks for waiting.

The freeze problem in Halo on +1hr sessions is the Joytech controller.

So, buy the MS S type if you regularliy play 2 player games, and just have the joytech as a occasional use spare. ;)

    kevenh & Sam

    Thanks for the advice.

£8 for the joytech one, was that in a sale? My local HMV is useless, their stock of anything XBOX is tiny:thumbsdow

I've got 4 non-MS adapters. None are as good as the MS one. Sticky/faulty buttons on all 4.

I could do you a mint original controller for £18 inc p&p if you are interested. Not sure if this should be on for sale board but I am just helping you out if you want one - I was not really intending to sell but my second one never gets used.
