So I picked up silent hill downpour the other day so I could play it in 3d, , but my xbox slim does not have a 3d option in the settings.
I thought xbox 360 s were 3d compatable.
Does anyone know how I switch this on or if it is 3d compatable at all.
My xbox is about a year and a half old so it is a newer model.
Cheers.

I haven't played this game, but other titles I've got that are 3D compatible have the 3D option in the game's settings.

I youtubed how to change the settings, it should be at system settings and there is normally a 3d option on the hd options menu.
On my xbox slim there isn't that option, so im not sure if my xbox is in fact 3d compatable.
Mine is only a basic xbox 4gig slim.
I thought all xboxs had 3d campatable, or the newer models at least.

There's a 3d option in the game I cant click onto the options as they are "greyed out".

if that is the cable that has the SD/HD switch I don't think it will work even tho its HD, you need a HDMI cable I believe.

I have an hdmi cable.
Its all moot tbh, ive played assassins creed revelations on 3d on the ps3 and it aint nothing special, so there is no reason to think it woukd be any better on the 360 if I could get it anyway.

very weird then, as you say its unlikely you are missing anything ground breaking but puzzling none the less.
