    Hi

My mate recieved his jvc lcd screen this week and attempted to hook his xbox up using a brand new advanced rgb scart kit.

He phoned me to say the picture was purple ? .

His xbox is a modded one using a smartxx chip so is there a option that he needs to enable to make the xbox output rgb?.

    Thanks

I'm currently running the Advanced Scart cable to a Scart socket on my LCD Tv but one that only accepts composite or S video. Obviously I'd rather choose the S video input option on the LCD, but this comes up with a black and white picture only (and fuzzy at that). Presumably nothing I can do about this? I can't see anyway on the Xbox to tell it to output S video via the scart rather than RGB.

    Anyone any ideas?
