XBox Repairs - eMails

    My son's XBox 360 is currently away being repaired.

    Do MS send out eMails as the progress changes?

    The XBox was sent off on the 13th, delivered on 14th, MS claim they got it on 18th (after speaking to them on the phone) but the only emails I've ever had is the original request and the shipping label.

    Furthermore, when I phoned in the fault they asked for my eMail which I gave. However, I don't have a Live account (my son does) so I can't use the progress checker on the MS website - if I log in as myself it prompts me to create a LIve account and if I log in as my son, it doesn't register the repair.

    Do you normally get eMails? If not how do you know when it is being returned (I will need to arrange to be home)?

    They only sent me an email to say its being returned, I got it the next day

    I got an email saying they had received it then i got one saying it had been repaired and was being despatched back to me.
    I tracked it on ups anyway.

    Same as the others but if you need to know the delivery date phone UPS and they will assist :thumbsup:

    The only e-mail I received throughout the whole process was the UPS label, nothing else...
