    Will this work?

The Redent is a line doubler and is also an interlaced signal. Can a loewe television accept an interlaced image via its vga card?

    Thanks.

I really wouldn't get any Redant products, they are pretty poor.

Its outputing non interlaced RGB VGA, thats what the line doubler part does, but it does it badly, there is a very good reason why it only costs 40 quid.

You would be better off getting your xbox chipped and switching to the US region and then using prog scan and getting a decent VGA cable rather than the redant box.

I think with the Loewes you just need a VGA card for it, but I don't know enough abouts Loewes to say if there is already one in your tv or not..

    Thanks for the reply mate.

I dont own a loewe yet but will be getting one probably next week just gettin a few things clear before i take the plunge!

The problem is that i already have an xbox redant adaptor knockin about and was just wondering if it will work with the loewe. Does the loewe vga card only accept a progressive signal?

    don't know but:

interlaced vga (15.xx) = normal RGB scart
deinterlaced vga (31.xx) = progressive RGB scart
