Xbox making a lot of noise

Was playing Topspin last night and my Xbox has started to make lots of noise, could be vibrations.

Rainbow 6 was fine but topspin was very loud.

Any ideas?

Sounds like vibration from the DVD drive (assuming you're not playing from the HDD).

Check the disc - may be dirt/contamination on it causing the drive to spin it erratically etc.

Think youself lucky yours is making any noise at all as just a few weeks ago mine just died !. Was well miffed as I had over 100 soundtracks and loads of saves on there and lost the lot when they repaired it !. I guess these things just happen and on the plus side the customer sevice / ruturn time was excelent.
