i phoned up MS tech suport to ask them a question that know one seems to ask.
most new broadband customers have USB modems , so what do you do?
after loads of being passed about you seem to have a few choices.

1)use your PC as a router (great if you have your PC in your cinema room).

2)buy a 30 metre RJ45 cable(to go from one end the house to the other).

3)buy a new ADSL modem with a ethernet conecter.

what do you guys think?

I use option 3, the advantage being you are totally independant of your PC.
