    Agreed.

I'd like to see some dedicated servers running certain games so that we could get more than 16 players up and running (anyone for a 60 vs 60 halo2 battle anyone?). Other than that I think that MS's online service has been absolutely brilliant. Consider me a convert.

Dedicated servers would require very much increased subscription costs or advertising.

Also, how are they going to fit in subscription games like Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies etc.???

Will be interesting to see how it develops

im happy to pay £40 for a year of damn fine gaming but i WONT be paying monthly subs.ever.

i dont care what the game is or how good it is.

subs usually apply to rpgs or whatever they are called,to which i have absolutely no interest in.

sports games and fps are where im at.

Just in case anybodys interested. (i assume anybody reading this thread can already access xbox live)
You will soon be able to access Xbox live from an AOL broadband account.
I started the beta test a few weeks ago, and have had no problems.
Mind you i have just migrated to plusnet broadband, due to AOLs lack of internet sharing!
I will wait until i have setup my home network before trying live with them etc.
    See you all soon!

Hardly play on XB live although I have most of the better Live enabled games. When I do play online I use Xbconnect (Halo)

However I will renew as I need it for Halo 2

£3.30 a month's got to be worth it except i've not been on Live for ages. I've gone to PC on-line gameing as my prefered online experience. Halo2 was going to be my reason for keeping Live going but after trying Halo demo on PC i'll probably stick with that.
Any other Live games in the pipeline that sound "must have" anyone knows about?
